1481. These things can serve as an example of what the understanding of angels is like, but everyone forms their own idea from it according to their own deeper knowledge. Those who are only earthly people understand it in an earthly way, thus not at all.
1481. These things may serve to exemplify the nature of the perception of the angels. But each one forms an idea therefrom for himself according to his own cognitions; those who are only natural men do so in a natural manner, and thus understand nothing.
