Matters of the spirit are frequently portrayed symbolically by those of nature, as by clouds of diverse density and color, by clear weather, by storms, winds and calms, by hail storms, also rains of different kinds. Now since symbolic portrayals of such matters are extremely familiar to us also, as figurative comparisons of the same, obviously very many spiritual conditions answer to these phenomena of nature.
