When it was portrayed to them that perception is the Lord's, and of course by means of displays, then at once, as if instantaneously, they were saying that it is not so, or that one does not know, or that this is so, thus they know so clearly what perception is, something our spirits not even most roughly know or understand.
3235. (When it was represented to them [that] perception is of the Lord, yea, by means of representations, then, immediately in an instant, as it were, they said, that it is not so; that he does not know that this is so: so that they were then distinctly aware what perception is, which our spirits do not know or understand, even in the grossest manner.)
3235. Cum iis repraesentaretur [quod] 1
perceptio sit Domini, et quidem per repraesentationes, tunc illico in instanti quasi dicebant quod ita non sit, quod non sciant 2
