These auras are of the one Lord, for they descend from the aura of faith in the Lord, from which and through which the rest of the auras are distinguished, and from which they flow forth, so they correspond to the aura of odor. Hence odor is mentioned in the Word, i.e. that Jehovah smelled a sweet odor [Gen. 8:21].
3343. Such spheres are of the Lord alone; for they descend from the sphere of faith in the Lord, from and through this, the rest of the spheres are distinguished and they flow forth therefrom; wherefore spheres of odor correspond; hence [is] odor [mentioned] in the Word [as] that Jehovah smelled a sweet odor.
3343. Sphaerae tales sunt unius Domini, nam descendunt a sphaera fidei in Dominum, ex hac 1
et per hanc caeterae sphaerae 2
distinguuntur, et ex illa profluunt, quare sphaerae odoris correspondent: inde odor, quod Jehovah odoratus odorem suavem, in Verbo [Gen. VIII: 21].
