3356. The thoughts and conversations of angels, as well as of angelic spirits, come down in [the form of] parables
When I was writing the things found in number 1577, namely that the thoughts of angelic spirits and of angels are like parables [1576], certain spirits were doubting, because they had not well understood the idea of a parable. Therefore the angels and angelic spirits tested the matter, whether their ideas came down into parables, and it was confirmed by them that they come down in no other way than in parables, for parables contain generals. 1748, 26 Sept.
3356. THAT THE THOUGHTS AND SPEECH OP ANGELS, ALSO OF ANGELIC SPIRITS, FALL INTO PARABLES.
When I wrote concerning those things which [are] in No. 1577, that the thoughts of angelic spirits and angels are like parables, certain spirits doubted, because the idea of a parable is not understood by them; wherefore, angels and angelic spirits tested the matter, whether their ideas fell into parables, and it was confirmed by them, that they do not fail other than into parables, for parables contain generals. - 1748, September 26.
1748, 26 Sept.
