3736. If, therefore, they are inwardly such as portrayed according to the thought I had fostered concerning those two, then there are two kinds, one being the worst, which have no conscience, the second which despise others in comparison with themselves.

If therefore they are interiorly such as represented, according to the things which I know by thought respecting those two, then there are two classes [of them], one exceedingly bad, because they have no conscience, another [also bad], because they despise others in comparison with themselves.
3736. Si itaque tales sunt interius, sicut repraesentati, secundum ea quae fovi cogitatione de binis istis, tunc sunt bina genera, unum pessimum, quod nullam conscientiam habent, alterum quod alios prae se contemnant.
