From this it was granted me to learn the nature of inflow of all things from the Lord, due to which all things in the universe have life, then also that order is thence, and that the more in harmony one is with that stream, the greater is the order. I discussed with spirits the question whether animals are in order, and it was shown to be the case.
4274. It was hence given to know what kind of an influx there is in all things from the Lord, from whom everything in the universe [that lives] has life; as also that order is from the same source, and that the more concordant one is with that stream, the more is he in order. As to animals, I spoke concerning them with spirits, and it was shown that they are in order.
4274. Inde scire datum qualis est influxus omnium a Domino, e quo omnia in universo vitam habent; tum quod inde ordo, et quo melius in fluvio isto est concors, eo magis in ordine; quod animalia in ordine sint, de his loquutus cum spiritibus, et ostensum quod ita.
