Spiritual Experiences (Odhner and Nemitz translation 1998) 4288

4288. Each thought is an image of the person, and an image of that society in general, and indeed, one differently from the other, one being an image of this society, another an image of that one, and thus an image of all diversely, depending on their state. No matter how the state varies, still it is an image of the general society, as long as they are of that opinion. Those having a mental image of truth, they in like manner have concordant angelic societies. 1749, 29 May.

Spiritual Experiences (Buss translation 1902) 4288

4288. Every idea is an image of the man; it is an image of such a society in general, yet different with one from what it is with another; one is an image of this society, another of that, and thus an image of all with diversity according to state, however, the state may be varied; still it is an image of the general society while in such and such an opinion those that are in the idea of truth have angelic societies concordant with them. - 1749, May 29.

Experientiae Spirituales 4288 (original Latin 1748-1764)

4288. Unaquaevis idea est imago hominis, est imago talis societatis in communi, et quidem unus aliter ac alter, unus imago istius societatis, alter imago alterius, et sic imago omnium cum diversitate secundum statum, utcunque variatur status, usque est imago communis societatis, dum in tali opinione. Qui in idea veri, ii angelicas societates similiter habent concordes. 1749, 29 Maj.
