4533. About the universal affirmative
It is only by a universal affirmative principle that man is imbued with truths from the Lord - such as that the Word is the Word, the Lord is the Lord, Providence is in the very least things. When man has these truths, even though he may know them only vaguely, then innumerable affirmations are slipped in by the Lord.
4533. CONCERNING THE UNIVERSAL AFFIRMATIVE.
It is solely a universal affirmative with which man is imbued as to truths by the Lord, as that the Word is the Word, that the Lord is the Lord, that Providence is in the most singular things. When one is in this principle, although he is but obscurely aware of its existence, innumerable affirmatives are insinuated by the Lord.
