But it was said that such piety does not constitute heaven, but rather a life according to the Lord's precepts, which is to do no evil to others out of hatred or revenge.

But it was said that such piety does not constitute heaven, but that it is a life according to the Lord's precepts; which [life], is, to avoid doing evil to others out of hatred or revenge.
