5239. Some said that they had believed that the last judgment would take place in the world and not in the other life. But this runs counter to the Word, where it treats of the last judgment in Matt. 24, and [it was said to them] that this could not happen, because the human race is the foundation from which heaven arises, and also the Word is there, which serves as a base; and these foundation must not be destroyed.
These things [happened] in the last days of 1756.
5239. Some said that they believed that the Last Judgment takes place in the world, and not in the other life; but this is contrary to the Word where the Last Judgment is treated of (Matthew 24:24-51); and it could not be, because the human race is the foundation from which heaven [is raised], and likewise, the Word is there, which serves for a basis: the foundations, also, must not be destroyed. 1These things happened in the last days of the year 1756.
