5313. After this I saw female beggars who were in another place. They appeared in a higher place and all as it were in a solid mass, or so to speak, stuck together, because they act as one. These were thrown into a quagmire distant from the earlier one to the north.
5313. Afterwards, I saw beggars, who were in other places. They appear in a higher situation, and all as if continuous, or, as it were, glued together, by reason of their acting as one. They were cast into a gulf, remote from the preceding one, towards the north.
5313. Postea vidi mendicantes quae alibi erant, apparuerunt in editiori, et omnes sicut continuum, seu quasi conglutinati, ex causa quia unum agunt, illi conjecti sunt in voraginem distantem a priori versus septentrionem.
