5326. When this happened, the wealthy who occupied the front region were thrown down from there into the hell of the gentiles, spoken of earlier [5275], on the west around the Mohammedans. And the monks and priors, and all the prelates of their monasteries, burst out when they saw everything stripped bare, and they were carried down to the western sea on its northern side.

This being done, the rich, who occupied the forward tract, were cast down thence into the hells of the Gentiles, previously described [no. 5265, at the west, around the Mohammedans; and the monks and priors, and all the prelates, when they saw that all things were laid bare, rushed forth from their monasteries, and were brought to the western sea, at its northern parts.
