5523. There are also intermediate types. These are sent among the spiritual, and when they stand there, are quiet and watch, and are surprised that the spiritual are like this. And in this way they themselves also take in good through truths there. But the truths do not pass into the memory but into life, and yet they are implanted.

These are sent among the spiritual; and, when they stand there, then they keep quiet and observe, and they wonder that they [i.e. the spiritual] are such [as they are]; and thus they themselves, also, imbue their good through truths, but the truths do not pass into the memory, but into the life, and yet are all the while implanted.
