905. The remaining senses, however, such as touch, taste, and smell, belong to the provinces of the heavenly, for they are not spiritual enjoyments. From this, the difference between spiritual and heavenly happiness can be learned, as well as what a person would be like if deprived of this or that sense.
905. But the other senses, such as touch, taste, and smell pertain to the provinces of the celestial, for their delights are not spiritual. Hence the difference between [spiritual] and celestial felicities can be known; also what man would be like if he were deprived of the one or the other.
905. Caeteri vero sensus, sicut tactus, gustus, et olfactus pertinent ad provincias coelestium, nam sunt jucunditates non spirituales, inde sciri potest differentia felicitatum [spiritualium] 1
et coelestium, tum qualis homo si privaretur uno aut altero.
