Each soul thus holds together strictly because of harmonizing substances, by means of tiny harmonizing fields which, once having been linked together, can never to eternity be disjoined without being reunited - even if they were a universe apart. For the Lord, Who is Love and therefore Conjunction, does this, working from the innermost regions.
979. Thus every soul has coherence solely from consentient substances by means of the least spheres which are in agreement. Being thus joined together, they can never be so dissociated to eternity but that they unite, even though they be as far distant as is one extremity of the universe from the other; for the Lord, Who is Love and thus in conjunction, acts in this manner from inmosts.
979. Unaquaevis anima ita cohaeret, ex solis consentientibus substantiis, per minimas sphaeras, quae consentiunt, quibus sic copulantibus, nusquam in aeternum possunt dissociari, quin se uniant, si vel ab uno extremo universi ad alterum distarent, nam Dominus Qui est Amor, ita conjunctio ita agit, ab intimis.
