980. Thus also, those who are in harmony in the other life are joined together in a social atmosphere, according to the likeness of their dispositions and minds. So souls are brought together into societies and groups on the basis of similarities, something quite familiar in our human society also, but occurring here in a very unrefined manner.
980. So also in the other life, those who are in agreement are conjoined into the sphere of a society according to the similitude of their "animi" and minds. Therefore souls are associated into societies and companies according to similitudes, as also is well known in human society, but there most grossly.
980. Sic etiam qui consentiunt in altera vita, conjunguntur in sphaeram societatis, secundum similitudinem animorum et mentium, quare animae associantur in societates et consortia secundum similitudines, sicut notum est etiam in societate humana, sed hic crassissime.
