5280. 1About Babel, or rather, the great Babylon, between the west and south
There was yet another great city stretching out from the west toward the south as far as the chasm there into which opens the mountain described above [5274], and toward the border in the corner on that western side. There that great underground city that is treated of here stops.

5280. CONCERNING BABEL, OR GREAT BABYLON, BETWEEN THE WEST AND SOUTH.
There was, moreover, a great city extending from the west towards the south - towards the south as far as the chasm there into which the mountain mentioned above [no. 5231 was cleft, and towards the boundary in the angle at the western side. At this point ended that great subterranean city of which we now treat.
