《天堂与地狱》 第600节

600、应该知道,人与天堂和地狱的结合不是直接地结合,而是通过灵人界的灵人间接地与它们结合,是这些灵人而不是来自地狱或天堂本身的灵人与人同在。人通过灵人界的恶灵与地狱相结合,通过那里的善灵与天堂相结合。正因为如此,灵人界在天堂和地狱中间,平衡就在那里。

Heaven and Hell #600 (NCE, 2000)

600. We need to be aware that our union with heaven and with hell is not directly with them but is mediated by spirits who are in the world of spirits. These spirits are with us, none from hell itself or heaven itself. We are united to hell through evil spirits in the world of spirits and with heaven through the good spirits there. Because of this arrangement, the world of spirits is halfway between heaven and hell and is at the point of balance.

On the location of the world of spirits halfway between heaven and hell, see the chapter on the world of spirits (421-431); and on its being at the point of balance between heaven and hell, see the last chapter (589-596).

We can see from this where we get our freedom.

600. It ought to be known that the conjunction of man with heaven and with hell is not an immediate conjunction with them, but a mediate conjunction by means of spirits who are in the world of spirits. These spirits, and none from hell itself or from heaven itself, are with man. By means of evil spirits in the world of spirits man is conjoined with hell, and by means of good spirits there he is conjoined with heaven. Because of this the world of spirits is intermediate between heaven and hell, and the equilibrium itself is there. (That the world of spirits is intermediate between heaven and hell may be seen in the section on the world of spirits, 421-431; and that the equilibrium itself between heaven and hell is there, may be seen in the preceding section, 589-596.) From these things now the source of man's freedom is evident.

Sciendum est, quod conjunctio hominis cum caelo et cum inferno, non sit immediate cum illis, sed mediate per spiritus qui in mundo spirituum sunt; hi spiritus sunt apud hominem, at nulli ex ipso inferno et ex ipso caelo: per spiritus malos in mundo spirituum conjungitur homo cum inferno, et per spiritus bonos qui ibi sunt, cum caelo. Quia ita se res habet, ideo mundus spirituum est medius inter caelum et infernum, et ibi est ipsum aequilibrium. Quod mundus spirituum sit medius inter caelum et infernum, videatur in articulo De Mundo Spirituum (421-431) et quod ibi sit ipsum aequilibrium inter caelum et infernum, in articulo mox praecedente (589-596).
