868. Verses 6, 7. And I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the eternal gospel, to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth, and unto every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people; saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory unto him; for the hour of his judgment is come; and worship him who made heaven and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
"And I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven,"
signifies manifestation everywhere from the Lord; "having the eternal gospel," signifies manifestation concerning His Advent, and the salvation of those who believe in Him; "to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth," signifies its announcement to all who belong to the church; "and unto every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people," signifies to all those who are in the goods and thence in the truths of life and doctrine.
"Saying with a loud voice," signifies exhortation; "fear God and give glory unto him," signifies that they should worship the Lord from His Divine truth, by a life according to it; "for the hour of his judgment is come," signifies the separation of those who live according to Divine truths, from those who do not live according to them; "and worship him who made heaven and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters," signifies an acknowledgment and confession of Him, from whom is the all of heaven and the church, and from whom proceeds Divine truth, or the Word.
868. Verses 6, 7. "And I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven" signifies manifestation everywhere from the Lord. n. 869); "having the eternal gospel," signifies respecting His coming and the salvation of those who believe in Him n. 870; "to proclaim unto them that dwell on the earth," signifies announcement respecting it to all who are of the church (n. 871); "and unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people," signifies to all who are in the goods and consequent truths of life and doctrine (n. 872); "saying with a great voice," signifies exhortation (n. 873); "Fear God and give glory to Him" signifies to worship the Lord from His Divine truth by a life according to it n. 874; "for the hour of His judgment is come," signifies the separation of those who live according to Divine truths from those who do not live according to them (n. 875); "and adore Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters," signifies acknowledgment and confession of Him from whom is the all of heaven and the church, and from whom is the Divine truth or the Word n. 876.

"Et vidi alium angelum volantem in medio caeli, habentem Evangelium aeternum, evangelizare habitantibus super terra, et omni genti et tribui et linguae et populo. Dicentem voce magna, Timete Deum, et date Ipsi gloriam, quia venit hora judicii Ipsius, et adorate Ipsum qui fecit caelum et terram, et mare et fontes aquarum."

"Et vidi alium angelum volantem in medio caeli", significat manifestationem ubivis a Domino [n. 869] ; "habentem Evangelium aeternum", significat de adventu Ipsius et de salvatione credentium in Ipsum [n. 870] ; "evangelizare habitantibus super terra", significat annuntiationem de eo omnibus qui ab ecclesia [n. 871] ; "et omni genti et tribui et linguae et populo", significat omnibus qui in vitae et doctrinae bonis et inde veris sunt [n. 872] .

"Dicentem voce magna", significat exhortationem [n. 873] ; "Timete Deum, et date Ipsi gloriam", significat ut colant Dominum ex Divino Ipsius Vero per vitam secundum id [n. 874] : "quia venit hora judicii Ipsius", significat separationem viventium secundum" Divina vera a non viventibus secundum illa [n. 875] ; "et adorate Ipsum qui fecit caelum et terram, et mare et fontes aquarum", significat agnitionem et confessionem Ipsius, a quo omne caeli et ecclesiae, et a quo Divinum Verum seu Verbum [n. 876] .
